Really Right Stuff SC-LR clamp question

Hey everyone,
Quick question for those who've go experience with the RRS SC-LR clamp - it's the lever clamp for ball heads that can attach to an arca or pic rail.

I've heard that you can't adjust the lever and because of this, the RRS lever clamps don't always play nice with other rails due to tolerances. For those who've used this clamp either on a ballhead or bipod (I think the Anvil has the same set-up) have you had issue with the clamp either not locking firmly (rail too narrow) or high lever force (rail too wide)? I have a RRS BH-55 and I'd like to put the SC-LR on it, but only if it will work well.

Any experience you can share, positive or negative on this?
