Night Vision Reap ir 60mm reticle

Was hoping someone could school me on the reap mildot ret.
Q 1 is this ret true to size?
Q2 do the ret work like a front focal plane ret or true to size at certain power

If one knows his holds in mil can the the mildot ret be utilized the same way?

No sir they are not even close on true subtensions. That reticle is completely fucking useless in any form of holds based on drop data. Trijicon has their head in the sand on it. That reticle in itself sub tends to 30” between dots @100yd if I remember right. That’s what happens when equipment is built and geared toward one specific demographic and that’s hog hunters.

Yup, that's one of the key differences between the N-Vision Halo's and the Trijicon Mk3s(and Reaps) ... the Halo's have actual mil-hash reticles you can hold with. Whereas with the trijicons, you are using the center cross hair of the reticle and then aiming with the critter as the reticle for your holds. Depending on the critter and the rifle/cartridge that can get you out to 250-300yds with the trijicons ... whereas with the Halo-LR 500yds is possible. If you can do it in the day, you can do it at night.

It's mind blowingly stupid and 100% software... Unfortunately they just straight up don't care. There's a SFP reticle in there that could be fine enough for use at 2x or 4x, but it's not intuitive... The bottom of the circle is like 1.5 mils (ish) at 2x, which can be a useful stadia if you zeroed a 77 gr 223 or 175 gr 308 at 100 or 200m

you're exactly right. they flat out do not care and have zero interest in customer feedback or requests for product improvement. super pompous
