Looking for a more stable rear bag I’ve been using the Caldwell v-bag issue is it slides around and I just can’t get it to stay in a good parallel position with the rifles. So it really effects my POI.

The "Taylor was Here" Rear Bag - Answer - Compromise - Grande' - *SHIPPING DAILY*
I have a very unique take on your relationship with your rear bag and its relationship to your shooting. What for some is a total afterthought, given very little consideration beyond what is trending in the marketplace or is being promoted heavily by this shooter or that. My take comes from...www.snipershide.com
It will require changes in your technique but is called "The answer" for a reason.
What kind of shooting? Prone on the ground? Bench? F-Class?Looking for a more stable rear bag I’ve been using the Caldwell v-bag issue is it slides around and I just can’t get it to stay in a good parallel position with the rifles. So it really effects my POI.
Sorry bench 99%What kind of shooting? Prone on the ground? Bench? F-Class?
True bench rest style means you want Dima, Seb, or Protektor. If you want something to squeeze/manipulate like you would a prone bag on the ground…but seated at a bench, then wiebad, Armageddon gear, Tab, Precision Underground, or Taylor’s bags. All a matter of preference and technique. None is “better” than another.Sorry bench 99%
I use this one as well…![]()

Wow, what a neat range bench. Maybe a little narrow, but leagues better than the left/right cutout type found everywhere.
Just noticed that has a pump. Interesting.

Many do shoot off tripods, both hunting and in matches, I have actually shot off a monopod a couple of times. As an aside, the word is “bipod”. A singular unit with two legs. When did it become “cool-guy gunfluencer” to call the single rifle support device a “bipods”. Jeezus. Do you shoot off a tripods? I didn’t think so.
Read carefully. I shoot off a, singular, three-legged tripod a lot. Never of “a”tripods. Likewise, never off “a” bipods….although often off a bipod. Many do shoot off tripods, both hunting and in matches, I have actually shot off a monopod a couple of times.

It’s a linguistic pet peeve. I just happened to watch the above video and he says “some shooters load the bipods”. Phil Valeyo refers to the singular unit as “bipods” too. It makes no sense.
