Rear bag

I came up with a couple that I really like. It has always bugged me how the bags slide on themselves so easily. Not great for stability. I played with the fill and the shape quite a bit to keep it light and squeezable, yet solid as heck.

Check out the TAB vs mine stability test. This is the best way I could illustrate the different feel of this bag.

I've been using the Armageddon Gear "Brick" grippy rear bag and have been pleased so far, but after seeing the video I want one of those to try out.
Yea I’m happy to make you one. I should have the new webbing here in a couple of days. Do you use a bipod most of the time? Prone?

Depending on price etc Id be interested in trying one out as well. Bipod and prone most of the time for me.
10 4 send me a PM subject line “bag” so I remember. I’ll get some more info from you through pm. A big part of keeping a bag really solid is the height which varies depending on the bipod height you typically use and the stock you use. You can squeeze it a ton to make it taller but there is a sweet spot of fill/size/height where it’s very solid and takes just a little pressure from your hand to get on target. Obviously it won’t always be that way but for your typical flat ground shooting it can be.

I'd be happy to purchase one of these as well if the price is right. Would much prefer to help out a small time forum memeber. I shoot prone amd use an atlas bipod.
Thanks I appreciate it. Yea I started out just trying to make something I liked. Now that I’ve found it hoping others will like it as much. Going to sell a few and get some feedback and take it from there. I have some ideas to try out to make it more versatile as well.

How much are they?
Not exactly sure yet I am thinking as an intro $35 for standard size or $45 for custom size. The idea is to get the height correct so that when you are in your typical shooting position the bag is compressed down and you only need to squeeze a little bit to get on target. Obviously it won't always be this way depending on your position but most of us have a favorite position for load development or just everyday shooting drills or groups.

The standard bag compresses down to about 4.25-4.75 inches on the tall side and 2.25-2.75 inches on the short side. Set up to your rifle and figure out what height under the stock would put your POA just above your typical target. THat way you have room for a little squeeze to bring POA down to target. If you need a custom size it should be fairly easy as long as it is in the general area of standard. If it is something really tall I would prob need to play with it a little to make sure it comes out as stable as I have this one. PM me if you want to get on the list for one. Should be able to ship them out next week if all materials come in on time.

I ordered a PU rear bag for a friend for Christmas a few days ago. I’ll post his/my observations when it comes in.
Everything except black Multicam will ship out tomorrow. Waiting on a new roll of it to come in tomorrow and will ship that stuff out thurs. As always let me know if you are not 100% satisfied!

It doesn’t look much different but the fill is much different. Everyone is going to fill that “flows” better for comps. Well flowing makes is squeeze fast but also makes it slippery as hell and hard to hold steady. I went the opposite direction. Mine are still very squeezable, especially once you get the hang of it, and extremely stable once you drop the stock in.

I have the old school tab bag but it wasn't enough for my 300wm. I want one of the bigger pillows. I was going to order the triad wedge but what do you guys recommend?

I had a triad wedge and I like it a lot; It is built very well. I sold it several years ago and now I'm looking for another rear bag. I'm mainly using a stuffed sock like clcustom1911.

I have two with a unique fill that is super stable. I can do a custom size or shape as well. Holler if I can help!

Is there a way to get one with longer webbing, I've got big hands, and a loop on the corner to attach it to packs or stocks?
For sure. I am in the process of getting pics to add a QD attachment or a loop attachment to the website. QD attachment will prob be $15 more with the QD sewn on. If you want anything custom before it's on the site just PM me, email me, or go ahead and order and put your request into the order notes. I will be fair on any extra pricing. I can do a loop on the corner or longer webbing at no extra cost.
