Rear bags...is there such a thing as a perfect one?

So I have a few different rear bags and frankly none of them seem to be just right. I have a rear bag by Tab (square model), cylinder and square by Midway (seems to be a tab knock off). They either are to short or to tall, not easy to keep settled in with out man handling them which adds tension into your body which I know is not a good thing. So have any of you found a rear bag that is just right?

Please list a model and a link to one if you have any better suggestions.

Use it frequently and interchangeably as a rear bag, elbow rest, ankle rest (kneeling position), pillow. Its light, durable...just bulky.

Of course the obvious answer is that what's 'perfect' for you likely isn't for me.
I don't know of any product in the world that is perfect ;-)
I find for my setup the Tab rear bag works great...so the only advice I would give is to watch all the answers here (and pics) and try out the two or three that seem to be what you're looking for.

i prefer the red tag gear rear bag for most things i do. when i'm sitting in the blind, i use it for the spotter and binos. i can use it as a rifle rest for the front for short shots ... and for longer stuff, the ruck at the front, and the bag in the rear ... just perfect size (for me) for several purposes.

they have a bag for everything, even a huge bag that weighs less than a small rear bag. The big one can be used for anything, positional shooting, rooftops ie... The big bag is a lot handier than one would think. Our SWAT snipers are using them and you'll see them at the major competitions as well. Like most sponsers here they are American made by American shooters.

I'm going to second this one. It's great for everything, and it's very light weight.

the square and wedge will give u 3 hights to work with... the round will only give 2

I have two a tab square and round cylinder. I should probably get a bigger one as I often use them both.

I don't like the wedge type, just doesn't feel right to me.

Build one for your own setup, i have made one from a old sock, putted a plastic bag in it, and filled it whit rice.
it works perfectly and its easy to change the high of it.

try out a bunch of them (if you can). I have the TAB bag and I like it a lot. There are a few different heights which you can adjust it to, however there isn't a lot of hand adjustment. I may still make a sock in the future...
