OK, So I opened a brand new jug of 335 (1lb) noticed the powder was a little clumpy. The powder has been kept inside in a cool dark place. I am thinking static because of the way the powder was hangin on to the cylinder in the throw?
What i need to figure out is why
Is it safe to use
How to avoid this?

Thanks

Re: Reason for Clumpy powder

It is normal with some powders and is the result of static. If it is in bug chunks it can be due to powder getting wet.
As far as the powder sticking to the hopper, rub the outside of the hopper with a fabric softener sheet and take a rubber band and fix it to the hopper. Cures the static and your reloading room won't smell like a high school ocker room anymore.
