May 26, 2023 - Recap of the URSA NorCal May ‘23 event (by RD, Lynn Dragoman; build info from Oscar)
Shooters - We had multiple new 375 CheyTac builds on the line for this match and WhiteMamba, Mitch, and Brian were all in contention for the match. After the 2147-yard dust had settled it was WhiteMamba and Mitch advancing to 2630 yards with WhiteMamba taking the win with 4 hits.
In the second match our own wnick308 got 5 hits in 10 shots with his Savage 112 338LM to take the win and earn his first achievement point. Amanda, shooting RickyRacer87’s (Doug’’s) rifle was Runner-up. Way to go Amanda!!!
Congrats to WhiteMamba and Wnick308 on your wins. Always bring at least 75 rounds of ammo as we always shoot for several hours after the matches.
Amanda picked up the 338LM rifle that she won in last month’s raffle, so RickyRacer87 will now be reloading ammo for two.
Next month's match will be the 4th Sunday of the month (June 25th) due to a college graduation ceremony I need to attend. Then we close down for the archery and rifle deer seasons, starting shooting again in October.
See you at the next match.
First match Winner, Jayson, declined to have his build data published.
