I have a 6 creed barrel and was thinking of rechambering to another caliber instead of setting it back. What short action based 6mm rounds would you consider? I was hoping I could just run a 6XC reamer in there. Luckily the barrel is 28”, so I don’t mind cutting a few inches off if I need to rechamber and rethread it...

2k rounds on a 6cm.......cut 6" off, minimum. Or best bet, buy a new barrel.

The XC and X47 have lil longer necks that the 6cm, but case capacity isnt much of a difference. The XC and X47 have known reamer/die fitment issues, just ensure the chamber and die selection are known to jive together before going down that path.
