Recommend a die set - and a place that has your recommend!

As if ammo, powder, and primers weren't hard enough to find right now, even the die sets are skint.

I'm looking for 6.5 Creedmoor. I want to do primarily NO, but I want to have FL available. I haven't reloaded in many years, but formerly had a very strong preference for Redding dies, and would like competition (micrometer) dies.

Anyone know of an available die set, that has a decapper for small primer brass, neck sizing bushing dies, a full length sizing die, and ? (anything else). Again, preference Redding, but I hear Forster is pretty good, also. Availability is a helpful!

PRS has really exploded in the time that I've been absent. So if there's any new insights that I might benefit from, by all means, I'd love to have them.

I would like a separate deprimer for small primer brass. Don't want to do any sizing of any kind before tumbling. i don't typically run small primer brass, and this seems like it could be problematic. Solid recommend for this?

I'm going to split from what I think is the norm and recommend putting together your own die set based on what I think are the best of each.

To be honest, it's not a bad idea. Having a box set discount is nice - but in truth, one theoretically only needs to buy dies once.

Everything thats been suggested will give you good service. I personally like Reddings Master Hunter set. It has a standard full length sizer and a competition seater. I buy most of my stuff from either Midway or Sinclair/Brownells. Both show the 6.5 Creed dies out of stock but back order is ok.

Yeah, I liked Cascade Hemi's idea. (mix and match) Cause for sure, availability is king right now.

After buying my first set of Redding dies about 40 years back I've stuck with them ever since. Mainly purchased from Sinclair.

This is a good option. When needing a die set for 6.5 CM, after the four decades of reloading other calibers, I decided to go separate. Redding 6.5 CM body die, Lee Collet die and a Forster micrometer seating die.

Gives you N/O and F/L option without spending a lot of $.

I started with Redding went to Forster and end up with Whidden and am now very happy. If you have time the Whidden custom dies might be the way to go.
