Rifle Scopes Recommend a optic for scar 16

Look at getting a scar 16 223, planning on it being the go to farm/shtf rifle. I know the scar 17 are hard on optics wasn’t sure about the 16. Would like something with some power 1-6 ish more or less is ok. Just want it to be reliable. Would like budget is 1k or less

People seem to get pissy over the scar and optics.

Didn’t see much on Scar16 either except some trigger talk. I got a Specter on mine right now with no complaints. Before that it had a plain jane Eotech 556 that had been on it since I bought the gun new. Eotech never had any issues and so far the elcan hasn’t either. You said 1k price point but there was a specter sold on here the other day for just a little over that.

I have the 3.5x ACOG on mine with the chevron and 223 BDC. After using this for about 3 years, I would do the same thing again. You should be able to get this for around your price point.

What about an aim point they are tough and you can get the magnifier
