Red Tac Rear Bag.

I have one and like it quite a bit. Well made kit. I have a TAB bag as well, and switch between the 2 based on what I'm doing. They are actually quite a bit different. The Red Tac is stiffer and more cylindrical, while the TAB is squishy and more of a bean bag. Both very nice...just different. You can get a little more height from the Red Tac

it's a solid, well made bag. That being said, I tend to prefer the TAB bag as I can wrap my hand around it and get some nice height to it. As a previous poster mentioned, it really depends on what you're doing.

I bought my Red Tac gear rear bags almost 8 or 10 years ago now. Also have the SH limited edition Red Tac pillow/standard bag with Franks SH patches on the side. Still going strong after all these years. Stu makes great stuff.

Of course the red tac half pint is out of stock! The tab rear bag is very nice I have shot with it a few times my only complaint about that is it's a large bag and can be slightly challenging to get your hand around to adjust for different elevations. How do you guys feel the red tac standard bag is for putting your hand completely around?

Having never used any rear bags and not knowing what I would like, I ordered a Red Tac, Triad Wedge and a TAB rear bag a few weeks ago. With an AR-10 (OBR) type rifle with a CTR butt stock and a Harris 6-9 bi-pod, I find I prefer the Wedge and the TAB gear over the Red Tac. The Red Tac is not bad, but it seems more stable and easier to adjust the height with the other two bags.

Mile High has the 1/2 pint bags in stock. Just ordered one with some 260 Lapua brass :)

i have a midway cylinder bag. It looks the same. maybe the same material. I think I paid ~$15.

I think you got the made in China rip off of a Red Tac bags. Midway copied the Red Tac, TAB and Triad bags all in one swoop.

" I'm Larry Potterfield, thank you for you ideas".....

They were so blatant about it, they did not even bother to change the product description that I wrote for the Wedge.

I have bought several things (bags and other kit) from Stu over the years. He did some custom work for me as well. All of it has held up well and been invaluable equipment. I certainly use more than just his bags, but his have always been my favorite for feel. Half pint gets more use than anything.

Its a bag with beans in it, how much proprietary info can they rip off of it? yes, the beans used probably are not organically grown.

I normally stay out but they even copied the text description from Triads sight. It was really sad.

It was sad. Some clown at Midway ran across the only place where all three of those products are available(Triad) and took the ideas to their boss, and that clown signed off on it as well.

Larry Potterfield is all over TV with his awe-shucks, good-ol-boy ads about how he came up in a mom and pop business. Now he allows that company to be just as cut throat as any other, stepping on the people he USE TO BE LIKE. It just does not jive...

Sweet thanks for the info? Mile high gtg?

So far, I ordered an atlas and a few other things from them in the past.

If you are not around to sign for package make sure you notify them you don't want the signature requirement to get your shit. I have to drive 1.5 hr to fed ex... Aint gonna happen

I had somebody liked mine so much that they stole it. Guy was a stranger at the range and when we went to set targets here was the only one that didn't go down. Came back and our was gone.*Now it stays on my person

cmh, was that at ASC? Man that set up scares me. I always put my stick in my truck to drive down to the targets. There's no way I'm leaving 3K on the bench with close proximity to parking area. I consider myself a good pistol shot but not that good.
