COURSE DESCRIPTION

This three-day/24hr course of instruction has been developed to teach trainees close quarters combat shooting and transitional distance shooting with both pistol and carbine. This course will commence with lessons to enhance the trainee's pistol skills focusing on marksmanship and weapons handling at close quarters and progress to the integration of pistol and carbine at close quarters and transitional distances.

During day one, trainees will learn techniques to enhance their pistol draw, improve sight management, trigger management, and recoil management while emphasizing clean weapons handling skills. Trainees will complete instructional objectives for each lesson which will culminate in an enabling learning objective in pistol skills.
