I am new to reloading so this is probly a very stupid question for alot of you guys. Anyhow, I was looking at the
Redding Type S sizing/decapping die for my
6.5mm (.264) Grendel on an AR platform but I do not know what size Redding titanium nitride bushings to get for it.

Do you get the size of the bullet (.264) or what?
They are like $21pc. at Sinclair so I dont want to get the wrong one(s).

Thanks for the help

Re: Redding Type S die/ What size bushing?

measure neck diameter of fully loaded cartridge using the same bullet and brass that you will use in the s-type die. Then buy bushings that measure .002 " less, .001" less and .003"less and test to see which gives you consistant pressure when you seat the bullet into the case without being too hard or too loose when you seat.
