I'm starting to notice an increased number of refineries and pipeline outages. The reasons appear to run the spectrum. Worldwide.

Who in their right mind would invest money in refineries when the Executive branch and the libtard majority in Congress have declared war on fossil fuels.

Biden is a fucking idiot. After declaring war against the oil industry, the moron now wants to call them on the carpet to increase production.

They just can't seem to grasp that you need to fully develop alternate economical energy sources before throttling back the ones we have today. Ideological morons who wouldn't be able to earn buck outside of the Federal trough.

This is the issue. No one is willing to invest with Brandon and his cohorts in charge. That would be like throwing your money into the ocean.

Until this changes, we will be guaranteed ultra high prices for gas and diesel. I'm just waiting for the shoe to fall on NPG. This would cause a catastrophic event never to have been seen by any society before.

They know, but they also know global warming is fake, oil isn't running out, and the only way their means becomes viable is if its forced on us, and we accept using less energy, and not having a reliable energy infrastructure, or reliable energy. Hello nationwide rolling black outs.

  • Refining 101 link
  • At the start of 2020, the United States had the largest refining industry in the world by a stretch, with 135 operable petroleum refineries and total refining capacity of 19 million barrels per day.
  • Today (6/6/2022), we have 128 operable refineries with total crude distillation capacity of 17.9 million barrels per day—
    • a loss of 1.1 million barrels.
  • In this same period of time, the world lost a total of 3.3 million barrels of daily refining capacity.
    • Roughly 1/3 of these losses occurred in the United States.
  • With this realignment, and planned refinery openings and capacity expansions in Asia, trade press reports suggest
    • China will overtake the United States as the country with the most refining capacity by year’s end (in the next 6 months).

oh, here's a nice tidbit; as of May 1st 2017.. but, good info to know link

America's largest oil refinery is now fully owned by Saudi Arabia.

Saudi Aramco, the kingdom's state-owned oil behemoth, took 100% control of the sprawling Port Arthur refinery in Texas on Monday, completing a deal that was first announced last year.

Port Arthur is considered the crown jewel of the US refinery system. The Gulf Coast facility can process 600,000 barrels of oil per day, making it the largest refinery in North America.

Ah well....since I kinda referenced the USA Executive branch and Congress, I sort of thought it would be clear that I was talking about refineries in the USA.

But your point is well taken that countries who haven't elected utter fucking woke, leftist assholes are indeed continuing to invest in fossil fuel infrastructure.

Cheers

You were clear.... Unfortunately as things progress the USA will soon be 100% dependent on refined petroleum products from our enemies. How's that going to work out ?
