Rem 700 5R Barrel Recommendation

Any recommendations- thinking of rebarreling my Rem 700 ADL to match the Rem 700 5R (.308 24" S/S, 11.25" twist). Which company is the best bang for the buck? (Rock Creek, Krieger, Shilen) I think some of them we do the rebarreling for you for extra. Or after all is said and done is it better to sell the ADL and buy a 5R? Does anyone know if Remington will change out a barrel to a 5R?

I HAVE OWNED KRIEGER, ROCK,HART, AND BRUX.
IF YOU ARE COMPARING BASED ON PRICE AND TURNAROUND TIME I WOULD SAY BRUX HAS THE EDGE. HOWEVER,ALL ARE GREAT BARRELS. AS YOU CAN SEE, I AM A FAN OF THE CUT RIFLED BARRELS.

Don't think Remington will do it... I'd go with Rock Creek for that particular cut and twist.

Definitely rebarrel instead of trading for a 5R.

Any of those mentioned above will do the job. I've used Broughton and Bartlien.

good luck on recovery bluejazz, and "caps off" is better, for me anyway.

no personal experience, but a friend's Remington 308 is shooting extremely well with Bartlein.
