Rem 700 BDL broken trigger guard

I acquired a Rem 700 BDL in 30-06. The rifle was made in 1971 according to the barrel stamp. Where can I get a new trigger guard for it? Factory remington replacements seem to be unavailable. thinking I'll have to go with after market.

So, what's a reputable replacement for this old heirloom?

You can get a Steel Sunny Hill trigger guard for about $200.

Check eBay or Brownells. Do a Google search for “Remington 700 long action bottom metal”. It should turn up something.

Hell, I've got a spare.
It has the stainless type finish though....it's cast aluminum so I'd wager it's anodizing.

I replaced it with a billet unit I got from Stockys.....no idea if they still sell them, but the unit I got from them was very very nice.
