Rem700 243

Should I rebarrel it, change calibers. I already have a custom 308 being built. And I forgot about this 243 I have. The action will be trued, should I go with another 308, or 260, 6.5 Creedmoor?

Why not 7mm-08? Better bullet ergonomics (cut through wind) and longer distance / power than .308; different tool for different purpose (hunting as opposed to competition).

My little brother is 10, I might use my old parts to make it a 308. SPS tactical barrel bell Carlson stock, give it to him. That way we can shoot together .

Well I was just thinking of ammo availability , if I don't load for that round. I just hate to see a plain Jane 700 sitting in the safe that nobody wants to shoot. Custom 243 is interesting.
