When this video came out I remember a bunch of us having a helluva laugh. Apparently the guy heard laughing on the video (an E-7) was also written up for laughing.

His "Bad Conduct Discharge", aka Big Chicken Dinner, is one of the two punitive discharges and means he gets zero entitlements from the VA. Actual dishonorable discharges are rare (157 out of 207k or 0.08% in 2014 from what I read), you have to really work hard and commit capital offenses to get one of those.

You know of what you speak. I was the Discipline Officer at a few duty stations. Many many 6 6 and a kick and a Big Chicken Dinner. Oh the memories.
