The Army just convicted a Sgt of cutting the rigging straps  Considering the possible punishment vs what he received, I'd say he got his money's worth out of that show.

When this video came out I remember a bunch of us having a helluva laugh. Apparently the guy heard laughing on the video (an E-7) was also written up for laughing.

For those not familiar, there are five levels of discharge and he got one step above the worst. His "Bad Conduct Discharge", aka Big Chicken Dinner, is one of the two punitive discharges and means he gets zero entitlements from the VA. Actual dishonorable discharges are rare (157 out of 207k or 0.08% in 2014 from what I read), you have to really work hard and commit capital offenses to get one of those.

You know of what you speak. I was the Discipline Officer at a few duty stations. Many many 6 6 and a kick and a Big Chicken Dinner. Oh the memories.

Maybe they could rig up his ball sack and give him a sharp knife, run him out of the ass end of a C-130 and see what he cuts first before the chute opens.
Let me do the rigging, gaurontee it is going to hurt.
Glad he gets no VA bennies. FM
