Gunsmithing Remington 308 #17 Heavy Varmint Contour Compatible with AICS 1.5 Stock?

I'm having a hard time finding the right stock for a #17 Heavy Barrel. It's for a Remington 700. I know the P and PSS model stocks need trimmed but wanted something aftermarket.

I like the AICS 1.5 stock and was wondering if anyone out there has a Heavy Varmint in it. If so did you have to trim the channel to make fit.

Other suggestions on direct fit would be cool as well.

You'll be fine with an aics. You could stick a bull barrel in there and still have room. No trimming necessary.

Yep, AICS stocks can take a truck axle just fine.
