I have for sale an ultra rare Remington 40X Titanium BDL repeater long action. It has an 06’ bolt face so it would be perfect for a 280 AI or something similar. It has never been built into a rifle and Remington never sold these to the public. I was able to purchase a few while working at the Custom Shop during the last days of Remington. Only 9 of these were ever made. I have already sold 2 and this is my last one. I won’t ever build a rifle on it so it needs a good home. I am asking 1500.00 shipped to your FFL. It comes with all of the small parts needed minus the trigger. USPS money order or certified check only please. Shipping to the lower 48 only. This is your chance to own an extremely rare piece of Remington history.

Nothing is stolen!!!!! I ran the center fire rifle line at the Remington Custom Shop for years until they folded from the inside. These are as legit as they get!

It’s 7oz lighter than a standard chromoly action. I do not have a stainless version to weigh it next too.

Is the bolt and bolt handle standard steel...like a chrome moly action?

Does the bolt have a SN that matches the action SN?

No Remington bolt was ever made of anything other than stainless and chromoly. The bolt has never been serialized. Like I said in my early post here, I worked for Remington for many years. We were able to get parts before they were ever issued hence the non serialized bolt.
