remington 597 vtr a-tacs

thinking of getting on of these 22 for squirrel/coon/plinking gun i had a 597 a couple of years ago it was a good shooter still kicking myself for selling it so if anyone has info on this baby let me know

Buy a Ruger 10/22. The 597 doesn't have mant aftermarket parts. I had one in 17 and it blew up on me. Remington ended up recalling them.

im going to buy it cause i like they way it looks dont really care about after market stuff or i would get a 10/22
