I have a remington 700 300 ultra mag that has a blueprinted action ,30 inch bull barrel ,worked trigger amongst many other goodies jobs and things.
I have a HS precision tatical thumbhole stock and want to fit a DBM that takes up to 9 round mags.
I recently purchased the Wyatt DBM ,two 9 round Mags and one 5 round mag .Only to find that the bottom metal will not allow the mag to seat high enough or forward enough for the bolt to pick up the round.
Wish it was right.
I do not want to compromise the action or bolt travel by machining metal away. I would like to purchase the correct bottom metal for the job with twin locking lugs or a very reliable system to hold the mags. Precision final fitting by my smith is to be expected.
As this has not been built on the magnum action I am having a lot of trouble finding what I need in Australia.
Who can help me get this sorted I don't want to junk it up now?
What companies and or products can be supplied to finish this build
