Are there any advantages to either the Mini M16 or the standard M16 extractor. I ordered the 1 piece bolt for my Win Mag last week from PT&G and was asked which M16 extractor I wanted. I was thinking the larger M16 extractor would get a better bite on the Win Mag brass... ANyone have any thoughts or comments.

Gracias!

Less material removed from the bolt, alot of smiths use the .172 wide sako extractors for .473 and .532 bolt face with zero issues, a mini M16 is around .187 wide, My Borden 300wm uses a .172 wide Sako and it extracts flawlessly,Defiance uses the mini m16, a Badger M16 is .255 wide, so if you think you need to hook more of the rim go bigger, but I don't believe you need it!
