Remington Long Action Bottom Metal

Looking to upgrade my Remington 700 in 300 Win Mag. I'm considering the Badger Ordnance, Surgeon Rifles, and CDI. The price isn't really a factor as I will just buy extra mags if I get the cheaper and end up at the same amount. But if I get a higher quality and less mags Im fine with that. Any experience with these?

you might also consider the APA Long Action. I ordered one and it's super clean looking, can't beat the price either.

I have owned the Badger and APA. Nothing against Badger but the APA is just awsome. I like the way the mag release is integral to the trigger guard as it makes for a very clean build.

Just sold my APA to shed some wight in favor of a BDL set up but I'm already second guessing that decision and if I go back to a DBM it will be the APA.

Actually I would suggest accurate-mag 3.775" bottom metal. Best part is it drops in. I can send you pics of mine

We just got our long action and cip long action AI dbm's off the machine. They turned out great

Thanks guys I actually ended up ordering the CDI as well as the Surgeon and plan on keeping the one I like the most but if I'm not crazy about either I'll definitely look into both of your suggestions thanks for the input.

Any DBM for a .30-06 based case? Planning a 6.5-257 Roberts but am striking out on DBM for it. I'm a little afraid of trying to mod a $80 300WM magazine...

Just bend the feed lips on the 300WM AI mags. Not a big deal and they feed flawlessly.
