Can anyone tell me the difference between a Remington 700P and a Remington PSS? Thanks in advance!

older 700P were 24" the newer 700PSS are 26", not sure if the designation aligns with the switch.

I thought the PSS was older. And I've been seeing PSS's in 26" for at least 10yrs. Of course, further back than that my mind gets fuzzy!!!

PSS is what they used to be called, P is what they are called now.
