Remington Triggers: New vs Old

I have a Rem 700 SPS Tactical, in .308 with the X-Mark trigger in it, obviously, and I keep hearing about everyone taking the X-Marks off and replacing them with the older style Remington triggers. I never had a Remington with the old style trigger, so I don't exactly know what all the fuss is about.
Can anyone enlighten me to why the old style triggers are better(or worse) than the X-Mark. Any old threads or links are all appreciated. I'm trying to purchase all the parts I want for my gun while I'm overseas so I can build a toy to play with when I return for good to Kentucky.

Leave the Xmark on the rifle until YOU find a reason to replace it.

Functionally I feel the Xmark design is superior to the pre-2006. However many of us don't like the feel.

I get along with the X-marks OK so far. I get along with the old ones as well. I do not care for most of the aftermarket triggers. I have no idea why anyone would want a trigger less than 2.5 or 3 pounds, barring some physical problem. Most I see who want a "light" trigger are not shooting in a sound manner. They are trying to "get away" from the rifle. Make a video game of it. I have dozens of people each year come to shoot on my range, sight rifles, etc. Most will not get behind the rifle, properly grasp the stock and forend like a man and pull the trigger and stay with the shot. They fuss around and act like they want to be somewhere else. I would say shoot like a girl, except the girls do not usually have these problems. The worse the shooter, the more focus he will put on a light trigger, in my expirence. I am not talking about bench rest, but field/tactical type shooting.
