First off I would like to say high to everyone. Its been a while since I posted on here.

Well I pulled the trigger on a Remington Sendero in .300 Ultra Mag. I finally found some Remington brass which if you reload for it you find out very quickly thats its impossible to find. I bought some 210 Berger VLD's which will work perfectly with the 1-11 twist barrel it has.

Im also going to try the final finish system on it as well to get a smoother bore for less fouling. I did some research on it and have found very little negative about it so Im going to give it a try.

So heres my list of "TO DO" for it. Of course im a APA whore so Jered will be doing the work.

.900 LB Brake
Lapp lugs
Bed the action
Recut the crown (Its got a nasty looking crown on it)
Jewell Trigger

Also im planing on sending it to Kampfield custom for a helical ti fluted bolt (with black filled flutes) and the campfire bolt knob.

Re: Reporting back with a new gun!

Very nice!! Skip the firelap for starters and just shoot it. If its anything like the SPS's that remmy is puting out, it should shoot very well. I can't believe they put a 1/11 twist on that, but then again, it is remington.

I couldnt believe it was a 1-11 either. I thought that it would be a 1-10. Then I looked on the barrel and its stamped 1-11? So I checked it via a cleaning rod and it was 1-11.1" twist. So its right on.
