Rifle Scopes Requesting Courtesy Measurements

Background: have a Custom GAP rifle on order, selected while lurking on these forums. Will come installed with a 20 MOA Badger mount for the scope rings, and resting in a McMillan A-5 w/ adjustable cheekweld. I intend to purchase a US Optics SN-3 3.2-17x(objective).

Problem: I have not find sufficient information, through just lurking, to order all the parts/accessories. Current snag is selecting the scope rings that will allow clearance of the objective, end bell, and at most a 2" sunshade. That is why I haven't specified the objective of the scope, because while I like the 58mm of the SN-3 Ergo, it may result in to much separation between the eye piece and the cheek weld, complicating the posture.

Road Block: I am in Japan on orders, so I don't have the opportunity to walk to gun store X and finagle with several items for fit and comfort. Going further, I transition straight from this command to a two year school/shore tour, so I would like to maximize the shooting opportunity by having everything ready by PRD, or as close as possible.

Primary question: Mostly, I am looking for anecdotal notes from folks with set ups similar to the above, stating that XXX rings work, or something.

Side note: I am currently split between the SN-3 ERGO and TPAL, and any comments in comparison would also be appreciated.

Disclaimer: Yes, I have very few posts. Yes, I am dropping a fair chunk of change. However, please don't pass me off as the guy that shows up with all the shiny equipment just to look cool.

Re: Requesting Courtesy Measurements

Recently bought a Crusador from GAP. Told Mr. Lin what scope I was putting on it and the rifle arrived with the proper rings. Don't know if your build includes rings, but GAP can supply what you need.

JW3 will take care of you. 58mm objective is not needed and personally I think the 44mm is a better looking scope. Ergo or TPAL is your choice, I like them both for different reasons.
