Requesting Loads for Heavy & Lite Bullets. Big Gap in weights.

I would like advice for M1A loads using these Bullets: 100 Grain Lapua Cutting Edge HP, Sierra's 180 gr # 2160 and 200 gr #2165. The Powders I have in Bulk are Accurate 2230C (not a misprint. Burn rate is next to 748 and is a Double Based Powder) and IMR-4895. That's my main need. However, I am also interested in loads that just seem to always work in M1A's. To open this question up for those who don't use M1A's, I have a heavy Bolt 308 chambered as close as possible (Ordered a reamer) to use Federal Gold Medal Match ammo. Then a little Remington 600 in 308. I have not loaded for three of these rifles yet (I have a lifetime of loading experience). The M1A; I HAVE loaded for one. It's a Match Rifle built by someone highly capable and has a long history of very tight groups. However, I have no loads for it with the above three different bullets. The other M1A is a brand new M21 Tactical Krieger SS Barrel. I placed a link below because maybe not everyone knows of this model. I am very curious as to how the Remington 600 will handle the 100 gr Cutting Edge Bullets. I would appreciate someone to coach me in how to take a picture in a folder and then post it in a thread such as here. The Lapua Cutting Edge has a sharp lip at the ogive area which allows it to cut a clean round hole for scoring, just like a 38 wadcutter. However, loaded in a 300 Win Mag, it has the same effect on a Coyote as does a 22-250 with a Sierra Blitzking (type bullet) on a ground squirrel. I plan on using an adjustable gas port on the heavier bullets. If I can get a reliable and accurate load with the heavy bullets, I will use such for Deer and Bear this season. I have many decades of loading experience and my learning curve never slows. I have some good loads in the 150 to 168 gr areas but I am always open to hearning of loads in Match M1A's. Because the 100 gr Cutting Edge is a bullet many folks have never seen or used, any loads for 110-125 gr bullets are welcomed also. The brass will be new, primed LC, never fired. I will likely deprime them first and start with commercial primers. I do not know what primer is in them, maybe a #34 but I need to be able to duplicate the loads, hence my thoughts of depriming and preping the brass first, then try loads.

Again, if someone can instruct me on how to post pictures, I'll return the favor by posting a picture of the Lapua 100 gr Cutting Edge HP. It would be very nice if they will function and be accurate in a gas gun. Otherwise they will be used by the carbine, the Remington 600.

dont know if this will help or not but I have shot the lapua 100 grain in a 300 blackout and really dont find it any better than hornady 110
v-max or the nosler 11o grn varmageddon plus you can get 300 varmageddons or v-max for the price of 200 lapuas . I can vouche for the varmageddons against ground hogs and deer they are devistating . I would be very interested to see what kind of velocity and accuracy you can get out of the lapuas in the 7.62 x 51 . I know I had to tinker with the seating depth to get them to feed right out of a magazine in my gas guns but that should not be a problem in the bigger m-14 mag .
here is a very crappy photo of some loaded .

75 yd 110 grain varmageddon about 2200 fps out of my 8.5 inch barrel I can get 2350 out of my 700 remington . I could only imagine what they would do at 7.62 velocity.

I am opting to use the 100 Grain Lapua Cutting Edge Bullets because I have 1000 ( 1K ) of them. I appreciate your post, apparently or maybe, my question is as I suspected and why I lack the data, just outside of the normal, everyday type loads. I have the 180's and they lay in the box screaming..."Take Us Hunting"....not the other lower weight bullets..!!!

I learned something today and that is, there are bullets for my 375 H&H Mag that are named Cutting Edge. I guess there's a business with such a name, I haven't looked yet. However, in the Sinclair website (where I bumped into them) the 375's come in 320 and 330 grain. I will look them up to see what the B.C.'s are, I'd bet they are up there. The written data also claims they are for Hunting and, non-lead. I hate to admit it but I am going to need to begin testing many non-lead bullets and in many cal's. The writing is on the wall that various States.... either.... on their own or via Federal Gov, make non-lead the future. I look at this as Sunday Night Homework, it's better to do it on Friday after school vs Sunday night. So I may as well slowly begin testing non-lead now. But that's wondering off of my post and what's sought.

I don't have any friends who have a 300 Blackout so if you'll allow me to ask, here's a question within a situation. I have a stripped lower and want something light weight so the Ladies won't complain of me handing them a heavy Rifle/Carbine to walk around the Sierra's with while Deer/Bear Hunting. No, the ladies won't be Bare, they'll be hunting Bear.....and Deer. So, do I seek a 7.62x39 upper (I have ammo for this cartridge) or a 6.8 or your 300...?

I am new so if you can gather others to look at the first post, then read this part, maybe answers will flow..?

sorry I have been busy and away from the computer . yes there is a company called cutting edge technology they make bullets for several calibers , a bit spendy but reviews of the 458 diameter bullets have been good thats all I know . there is very little difference between the 7.62 x 39 and the 300 blackout ballistics . for me the venture into 300 blackout grew from having a butt load of 308 bullets a 308 suppressor and more 5.56 brass than I can ever convert to 300 blackout plus 8lbs of lil-gun powder ( i use it for other rounds ) . deer at 200 yds no problem , bears Im not so sure I have no doubt a 110 grain barnes would kill a black bear im just not so sure it would do it fast enough .
If you have 1000 lapua 100 grain bullets on hand then fire for effect . if your looking for non leaded bullets barnes is your friend. I like the 168 grain barnes out of a 308 rifle. good luck and if you send some 100 grainers down range with your 308 please post a review .

May or may not help. Years ago my buddy and I were shooting Nosler BT 125 grain bullets over 49.0 grains of Winchester 748. Very accurate in our M1A's. Winchester primer and brass. Did the job on ground hogs and deer! We found 748 to be a good 308 powder, but temperature sensitive, so watch the hot loads in the summer. We use IMR 4064 now and shoot heaver bullets.

The max load (748) in an old Hornady Volumn II reloading book is 55.4 grains at 3300 fps and minimum is 47.0 for 2900 fps. This is for 110 grain spiral point. Hope this helps.
