Hey fellas, not sure if you watch Preston Moore's data driven AR-15 barrel testing videos you YT, but I am a big fan. His videos are high on information and low on opinion, the opposite of a lot of the slop found there.

Anyways, he is local to me so I reached out to him. I proposed that he shoot my precision rifle and my provided ammo for a video in exchange for sponsorship on some of his vids. He does AR stuff, so this was a bit new to him, but we had fun and I think it came out good.

I thought you guys might enjoy it since it's up our alley. All in all I'm happy with the results given factory ammunition and our set of circumstances.

Is this a Reddit or ARFCOM migration?

We ask the question about accuracy, shoot 90rds of 6.5CM at 100yds and then use a WEZ simulation comparing a .6 G1 BC at 2700 something to a .4 something G1 BC at 2700 something to decide?

For starters, precision is the act of grouping, accuracy is the act of putting it in target. So what are we putting to bed? Which platform reliably and consistently provides better precision? Whether through inherent mechanical means or through shootability by an average shooter? Or are you asking which platform is more likely to deliver rounds on target at distance? Or which cartridge is more likely to deliver rounds on target with mildly challenging environmental conditions? Clearly a higher BC wins. And I don't need to watch a an AR-15 shooter shooting 90 RDS of ammo to figure that out. And I don't think this is genuinely a debatable proposition. Hence why bolt guns dominate precision rifle competition.

Or is this just a plug to increase views on monetizing someone's YouTube channel?

Take a deep breath and relax there bud, you’ll live longer. It’s a clickbait title, we all know how our rifles perform compared to 223 gas guns. I dont care about the views, I wanted to share his work.

I thought the results of shooting (3) 30 round groups of 3 different factory loads would be interesting for people who may consider buying these loads.

The AR comparison is for shits and giggles. The data collection on the 3 loads was solid and informative.
