Reticle choice

Had the entire afternoon yesterday at TVP to develop zeros and practice. I discovered that my mil-dot reticle on my NXS 5-22 is way to coarse to hold off for wind vs. clicking knobs.

So to save the expense of making another mistake, can someone clue me in on the best or most popular of the Nightforce reticles for tactical steel plate shooting.

Sent my Nightforce back last week in favour of the NP-R1 which seems popular. It depends if your turrets are mil or moa...if mil the NP-R1 might not be appropriate.

+1 ... i've MLR and .25 MOA turrets, but i'm fine with this set up.

easy

npr1 if you have moa knobs
mlr if you have mil knobs

those 2 are also the best for ranging if you need to do that.

I just picked up a NXS 8x32 NP-R1 and so far I like the setup.
The MOA-MOA seams to work best for me.

Reticle changes are $250 for SFP and $400 for FFP.

I have moa knobs, so NP-R1 seems to make the most sense. That's money wasted if I had made the right choice the first time!

NP-R1 for moa, MLR for mil. I have NP-R1 but some find the lines too fine, take a look first.
