    Good morning.

I picked up and ATACR 5-25 F1 with a Tremor 3 reticle earlier this year.
I've got maybe 600 rounds on this scope, and I'm not sure how to feel about it.
Sometimes I lose focus on the reticle in different lighting or positions and it gets
difficult to pick up on. Maybe blurry would be a good word to describe it but adjusting
parallax didn't seem to help. What DID seem to help was breaking position, waiting a
few seconds and getting back on the rifle.

I'm not sure if this is a fundamentals issue with positioning, or the scope and reticle.

I looked down my friend's H59 and it seemed like the reticle was more pronounced
and easier to keep track of.

Was curious if anyone else has had this issue or knows what I might be doing wrong.
This confusion lead me to start looking into other reticle's... H59, the Mil-XT & the Mil-C.

    Looking for some guidance!

when you adjust the diopter make sure you only look for a few seconds and then look away
if you stare at the ret long enough your eyes will adjust, but its still out of adjustment

I agree with above in that it could very well be a diopter issue. Diopter is a pain in the ass sometimes. But once it’s set you can tape or lock it and presto.

There's your problem: you're using the wrong adjustment. Parallax does not focus the reticle. It focuses the image. The reticle focus (incorrectly called the diopter) is what you need to adjust.

On Nightforce scopes, reticle focus is adjusted by loosening the eyepiece lock ring, turning the eyepiece until the reticle is in sharp focus, then tightening the lock ring again (without moving the eyepiece, obviously).
