Rifle Scopes review my setup.

I have a SPS tactical in .308. I'm making some final reviews of what to purchase for rings and a base. The scope I'm using is a Millet TRS-1 ( I know it isn't the best).


Rings: Leupold QRW 30mm Rings.

Base: Leupold Mark 4 1 Piece Base. 15-20 MOA

Bipod: Harris 6-9" BR-S.


Quick question. Does anybody know what size rings will work with the QRW's and the TRS-1 I know the objective bell diameter is 59.8mm.

Base: That base is fine. For the price I'd consider Seekins as well.

Bipod: Good choice. Hard to beat for the price.

Rings: Not a fan of those rings... for that price, I'd go with TPS TSR instead. (Aluminum)

Interesting. I was going to go Seekins, I found that I could order everything from SWFA for (Leupold) 283$ vs the 328 with everything Seekins. The cost of the seekins rings is what made me reconsidered them.

I know leupold has a established reputation for years. However that being said, I've nothing but great things from Seekins. Always recommended.
