Lately, here in the SW Chicago suburbs, there has been unbelievable amounts of military air traffic, and night time practicing; mostly Blackhawks and Little Birds. Supposedly a DHS training event, but this is getting stupid. Anyone else seeing stuff like this in their areas? Not just one or two, but 15-20 at a time.

There has been a ton of helicopter activity here lately as well. Lots of red ones and yellow ones. They are trying to be sneaky, taking "tourists" up to the glaciers, but I am on to them, no doubt. I am on to them.....................
I've got black hawks, shithooks, and little birds flying over my house every night. What really scary is there all black... But I am under the flight path....
For my area its completely normal. I'm guessing its not the "norm" for your area. Don't forget soldiers gotta train. They do it all the time. Hell we had 1SFG flying around Portland in little birds, landing on roof tops and flying between buildings a few years ago. People thought they were getting invaded. Until they start fast roping to your roof... I wouldn't worry.
