I’m looking to purchase a rifle in .300 Win Mag and I’ve narrowed it down to three rifles: Christensen Arms Ridgeline, Seekins Havak, and Browning Xbolt. The main purpose of this rifle will be hunting so weight is a factor. The Christensen is about 6oz. lighter than the Seekins but I find the Seekins stock more comfortable. The Browning is about $800 less which is a nice savings. I’m open to other rifles under $2000. What are your thoughts?

The seekins will for sure shoot sub half moa with match ammo. I have one in 6.5cm and my buddy has two 6.5prc’s. Both proven shooters.

I had a sub 7 lb win mag 30 years ago and hated shooting it so I’m no longer a fan of light magnum hunting rifles.

I checked out a Christiansen w carbon barrel and light stock and it was like a feather. I would hate to shoot that in win mag.

But I’m an old arthritic pussy......

Tikka might be worth a look. Sako 85 Carbon Wolf is something I'd want to have a good long look at, but the finlite is a little closer to the price you're looking for.
Good luck!
