Rifle case/mat combo

I'm looking for a rifle case that also doubles as a shooting mat. Looking to hopefully spend under 100 or so.
Found this one Amazon.com: VISM by NcStar Gun Case Rifle Case/Shooting Mat/Green (CVSM2913G): Sports & Outdoors
Or are those combo ones not really worth it? I need something that will provide protection as well, as I have about a 1.5 hr drive to the range with the rifle sliding around.
But open to suggestions thanks!

For the price its a great bargain.

Adequately padded (I wouldnt purposely throw it on the ground with your rifle in it)
Can secure your rifle inside the case
Molle compatible
Couple storage pockets, including one with a clear plastic front which is helpful to keep charts from blowing around in the wind.
Has both zipper and strap/buckle closure method just incase the zipper fails you wont dump your rifle in the dirt.

Only con I can think of is the backpack straps, they are fairly thin and arent very comfortable carrying it as a backpack for a long time.


I'd definitely buy another one considering comparable cases with bigger name brands go for 2-300

Found this Cabela's Black Mountain Tactical Drag Mat Case : Cabela's

Not a bad price, not sure how much protection it offers.

+1 on the voodoo bag/mat combo. Will hold upwards of a 48" stick, is well padded and can be carried by the handle or by backpack straps that tuck away when not in use
