What creative ways do you store your rifles besides putting them in safes?

I'm looking for unique unorthodox ideas for long gun storage in my small condo such as tactical walls kind of methods. Any ideas or experiences with unique way of storing rifles will be appreciated.

Not sure if it counts as a safe but there are several companies that make a sliding locker that attaches to your bed frame and slides Luton the side. I also had a carpenter friend who turned his stairs into storage lockers under each step.

This is the kind of stuff I'm looking for. Thanks.

I walled off a small section of my basement - about 10' wide by 5' deep - and threw pegboard up on all three walls. I put an old kitchen counter & cabinets in there that a friend was getting rid of after a renovation. It now functions as a workshop/armory where I can keep all of my gear. We're purchasing a new home this year, though, so the armory will be getting an upgrade. Right now, I just have a secure lock on the door that accesses the workshop.

And yet, there are so many more 'innovative' and secure holding/hiding devices out there. They are ONLY secure and effective, because they are not advertised as "here I am, look at me" type things.

Sorry to be a party-pooper (hat-tip to 1J04) but some things just shouldn't be talked about on open interwebz type forums and such. Or better yet, feel free to type in your bank account and security password, just so that we can see if ours is as good as, the same, or better than yours.

But I digress, because there are two types of people in this world, regarding these thoughts. Those who know, and don't ask these question.... and those who do.

What group do you want to be in?

At SHOTshow I saw various concepts, such as wall mirrors, tables, benches and chests, all with
design features to conceal.. clever innovations

I like the stair tread, under bed slider tray and false room ideas. Good stuff
