Right way to install a Nightforce 6 screw ring set

Just got an NF NX8 scope with a set of NF Ultralite 6 screw rings.
Whats the right way to properly install them in terms of spacing between the rings and tightening pattern and torques?

I have 2 sets, they are truly awesome rings. Both on NF scopes 30mm on NXS and 34mm on ATACR.

Also the torque ie; 100in/lbs on the base is way over the typical 65in/lbs on others. Mine have never loosened at 65 so don't go crazy.

I've had a couple sets. There great rings. With that said.

I normally space the rings out as far as the picitinny rail allows. Set the scope on the rings with the bases loose. Put the caps on and loosely tighten them. Then snug the bases down and then torque the ring caps down. Shoot then re check and put small witness marks on them.

Yep, I want eye relief and based on that position of the scope on the rail I try to get as far from the erector housing as reasonable.
