Planning on building a Rim X rifle soon and was curious who makes the best barrel and which lengths shot best (currently leaning towards 18-20in). Hoping to find a good deal on a trigger tech and a manners TCS or PRS stock to bring it all together if anyone knows where I can find a good deal. Thanks!

2nd that on Lee Gardner Precision. He is one one of the best Rim X/ precision 22LR smiths around. Mine works great w/ 22" Bartlien.

I run a 18 " proof for obstacle courses less then .5 groups at 50.
24 3/4" shilen 14 rachet .750 deg lead match chambered inhouse a ELR setup
25" GMB from Keystone I reworked the action tork settings on yesterday it ran 20 rounds under a .490 group at 50
The long Tom's are not barrier friendly but their es is more consistent then the shorties. I shoot far often.

Padom did a test of 5-6 barrels on the RimX. I'd find his thread. It's a good read
My rimx wears an 18" Bartlein chambered by Curtis Custom Weapons in Clarence, MO. I have only ever run sk standard and sk semi-auto through it. I have run 3 lots of sk standard and they have been from one hole to .3 in. for 5 shots at 50 yards. Back when I bought the ammo it was $500/case so the accuracy is damn good for the money.
The semi-auto does not shoot as good as the standard plus, but it is still good enough to consistently hit 2 moa targets from barricades during practice.
The only thing I would do differently is use a longer barrel to get better balance for positional shooting. In an ARC XYLO it is somewhat rear heavy.

I have a 26" IBI and have had very good success with it. It is not picky with ammo either.
Keystone Accuracy did the 18” barrel and Wildcat Precision did the barrel I’m currently using .
My first barrel was a 20” GM from Keystone. My second is a 26” benchmark from TS customs/primal rights. The 26” benchmark seems to shoot more ammo better as well as having better SD’s. It shoots at 1069fps avg with my lot of CX. If I were to do it again I would get the 26” by TS customs. The balance is so much better and the consistent groups has been well worth the change.
20" GM M24 contour from Keystone Accuracy...just put it together about a week and a half ago. 635 rounds to date. Here are 2 groups from over the weekend. Yes, cherry picked best groups, out of 20 groups shot. Of note, I have not had any problems with feeding or extracting/ejecting.

I have a 18" Straight Jacket Armory barrel. 1:14 twist and am shooting pretty decent groups a t 50 yards.
5 shot group at 50 yards using SK StandardPlus. Calipers zeroed at 0.022"

Just off the bench with my home made CTT short for Cat Turd Tuner a 6x5 .278 avg. .5302 moa SK PLUS GM 25" Keystone Barrel last 3 shots at left center foul diamond were at the corners .053 wide .135 high for 3 shot group it's getting close!
