Ring height for thermal clip on use

Bought myself a ZCO 5-27 and am looking for advice on ring height. It will be mounted on a shor action Remington in a McMillan A3-5 stock. What height rings do you all suggest to properly align the scope with a LWTS-LR thermal clip on when using the badger EFR?

If your action and stock rail are the same height , you want 1.5” rings. 1.3 or 1.6” may work but not ideal.

Afaik all clip ons are 1.5” except for the UTC series which are 1.3”.

If action rail is 20 moa and stock rail is 0 mo this can cause you to have a different zero when you use clip on
