Rifle Scopes Ring Reducers?

The scope that i'm looking at purchasing for my 700 has a 1 in. tube, I plan to get a pictiny rail and I'm looking at what options are out there for rings. Is it a bad idea to get 30mm rings with reducers to 1 in? Are there any good 1 in. ring options out there?

Just get the right size to begin with then you won't have to worry about it anymore.

IMHO Seekins Precision 1" Low Rings are the best out there for 1" low rings. If that set up does not have enough clearance, I would go with Badger Standard Rings with Ring Reducers.

+1 on the Seekins. I have 2 sets and they work great and are solid.
