What would be the best rings for a Leupold mark 5 on a bolt gun? The mount is a Stiller 20 MOA rail. I was looking at the Leupold Mark IMS 35mm bolt action mounts since I get a discount on Leupold from a friend. Any other suggestions?

The spuhr sp-5001 would be a good option. I am big fan of spuhr mounts. They have a built in level and have a lot of different mounting attachments for rds sight etc. I also like the arc m10 rings. They are built like a tank they don't leave ring marks.

We're making 35mm rings in our Ultra-Light Tactical Line, as well as our Heavy Tactical line for competition or service rifles.

Rail: I’ve heard awesome things about Arc M10’s, and I would love having only two screws to tighten! So, those or Tier One rings (they are also OEM for Zeiss rings with the bubble level) or Burris Signature.

Two separate mounts: Burris Signature. They’ll correct for small misalignments.

They are by far the quickest and easiest to set up for sure. Tighten the mounting bolt, set the scope, set eye relief and level, torque top bolt, done. Takes about 60 seconds if you're slow.

I just went with a Griffin Armament mount. It’s solid, reasonably priced, fit and finish are good. I went with it because I was looking for something cantilever/MOA built in and in stock for a long range AR.

If I was putting it on a bolt gun, I probably would have tried the ARC rings.

My bad. I didn't realize Leupold had the IMS for bolt-actions now.

Thought he was talking about the AR version IMS
