Rifle Scopes Rising pin rev counter?

I’m not familiar with the Razor’s windage turret so?…I don’t know…I’ll look online
This is why I asked and thanks again Birddog....this is the Kahles....
and this is the one I just purchased because I believe it is either an extremely well executed knock-off of the Kahles or possibly the predecessor of Kahles current model K525i...or both...
It's not a Rev counter, it just gets more turned on the farther you're shooting
It's not about "Brand"...it's about who designed it...and then it's about who manufactured it....I know what brand it is but I also know for a fact that they didn't make it.
Um....not sure how it can be BOTH a knock-off AND the predecessor but....ok then!
I've been trying to figure out what the deal is regarding the design origins of this scope for a few weeks prior to making the decision to go ahead and purchase it 2 days ago.
It's a Cabela's CXpro HD 5-25X56 FFP priced at $799 at Bass Pro but on sale through Cabela's for $439 and here's the wild part...the glass is stellar and the turrets are as crisp as any NF turrets I've spun....moreover?...I believe it's MOA reticle is etched as when illuminated the entire grid lights up great and is very visible even in bright daylight and?...it had this feature to it I hadn't seen on any other scopes yet which is the rising pin rev indicator and I must say everything on this scope is disgustingly great including the screw-in alum lens covers and sunshade all included in the box.
Birddog pointed me in the direction of Kahles apparently being the only manufacturer I/we know of so far that utilizes the rising pin rev counter in the elevation turret where a little deeper digging revealed that there's a plethora of scope manufacturers that source their lenses from OEM/Superior Lens in China (that I believe have a stateside front in Salt Lake City, Utah (so there was a lot of tracing going on here) and then find out that same facility makes lenses (and probably a host of other components) for Vortex, Burris, Sightron etc. etc.....and the only thing separating them is the patented/proprietary coatings each manufacturer boasts and then I went deeper which is when I found out that while Kahles claims to make no scopes in china that they do produce bino's and spotting scopes in certain parts of asia and?...yep....china and then?...I discover that Kahles was contracted to supply well?...here....

So along with the coincidence of the only two scopes I know of that utilize this rising pin thingy?...that it might not be to far of a stretch to think that I may've just purchased something very close to a $3,500 Kahles K525 for less than $500.
BTW?...Swarovski doesn't make anything in China but Swarovski also now owns Kahles...(just info sharing)
no. it's a very far stretch you bought almost a Kahles with better than NF turrets for $500
I've already accepted that I'm probably going to catch as much flack over my claimed eyes/hands on experience regarding this scopes quality as much as I'm going to catch flack over its COO but I never said "better than NF"....I said..."as crisp as any NF"...and they are.
That said?...I did see enough quality (and extreme value) in this CXPro to spring for some solid rings and went with 34mm High Zeiss rings...I also did the MCarbo Win70 trigger spring job on this FN PBR...and I just got done leveling the scope to the level...I think it's going to be a pretty sweet bench toy...I'm hoping to get out tomorrow to see if this scope is all I think it is but so far I'm real pleased....look for yourself...

Went to the range this weekend and would feel remiss if I didn’t give an update report of how things went with this Cabela’s CXpro scope along with the oh so awesome Zeiss Rings.
First?…my shooting buddy who just bought and mounted up (2) Sightron 5-20X56 scopes on his Precision CM and 308 Remington tactical rifles took a look through this CXPro…shook his head with a smirk…asked me how I always manage to step in Pooh and then accused me of making him spend money and ordered a CXPro for himself…and the scope is awesome.
Pros?: Crystal clear glass to the edges…just the right tension yet smooth rotation of the parallax and mag dials…extremely well marked graduations that I can actually read without my readers…very crisp turrets and?…screw-in alum lense covers with threaded ring locks for locking in position.
Cons: The throw lever took a chunk out of my index knuckle cycling the bolt and had edges so sharp I thought they were burrs but they were just sharp corner edges…I really have no use for a throw lever and just removed it as I can move the power ring just fine without it.
While the scope was awesome so was the trigger which I lighted from nearly 6lbs to 2.5lbs with a lightened Win 70 trigger return spring for $12.95 from Mcarbo…zero creep…super crispy trigger group as supplied from the factory.
The Zeiss Rings: The quality was awesome and the incorporation of the small and unobtrusive bubble level is a very well executed design/feature which I must of put to good use because by sessions end?… I shot one of the better groups that I’ve shot in quite some time putting (5) FGMM 175gr SMK’s in a 1 1/4” group from 200yds using my locking Harris Bipod and a rabbit ear rear bag.
I’m pretty pleased with this new kit making my old rifle a dang good rig…hope you enjoyed reading as much as I enjoyed shooting it.
