Rifle Scopes Riton X5 Conquer 5-25???

I'm looking to glass my Dad's old match rifle in 6.5x55.
I'm doing a T&E on a Strike Eagle 5-25 right now, and I'm fairly impressed.
However, I wouldn't mind opening the purse strings a bit more if this is a better scope.
I will say, I really like the reticle in the Vortex, I may buy one, but I think I'd like to go a bit better, without breaking the bank.
I am also considering the Athlon Midas Tac 5-25.
I would prefer a country of origin other than China.
Not sure about the Riton's Country of Origin though.
Wish more of these companies would source out of South Korea and the Philippines before China, if they are trying to hot a price point unavailable in Japan.

Im curious about the scope too. Excellent price on Expertvoice for another week. I haven't found much here on the Hide about the Riton Brand and at the risk of pulling a string (ala ARKEN)...

Has anyone done much of an evaluation on RITON Good / Bad / Indifferent?

My googlefu is weak, even EweToob has left me want more....

Riton is built here in AZ (SoAZ has a fairly significant mil/govt optics industry), but I dont know where they source the parts. Principles are mil/le, good people. They support my kids SASP team (which is more than I can say for many other manufacturers), the children are our future in the shooting world!

I would like to see DLO take a look at thier products.

Yeah, for the x5 models they are assembled in China.
Glass is supposedly sourced from Japan.
I believe the X7 series are all Nipponese.
I was hoping that for the price (MSRP >1000), it would have been something besides Chinesium.
