Stanton Friedman tore Bob Lazar's supposed background apart several years ago, and essentially discredited everything about him.

George Knapp seems to think that Lazar is legit, and that his background has been scrubbed by the government.

Elfster, the problem with any of these big "conspiracy" theories is that they require a vast number of people to keep a secret. Anyone who thinks that is in accord with human nature is mistaken. Those who think I am full of shit, tell your two best friends that you are having an affair.
