Has anyone used the Rock River LAR-8 platform for a custom build? I picked one up on trade and like the bolt catch & lock system. Magazines have worked fine - tried RRA factory and steel FAL mags.
I know it is a little larger than most receiver sets and has proprietary components. I spoke with Paul at Craddock Precision and can do a barrel with a RRA extension, which I can get from RRA.
Just curious if anyone has build anything from the LAR-8. Interested in hearing your experience with the project.
