I'll try to make this short.

I bought an Impact action because of how they were super smooth. And so far it's great except that when I load rounds in the mags the rounds seem to bind on the feed lips. It takes a lot of force to push the bolt forward when the mags are loaded. I'm shooting a 6XC.

I've tried AICS, ARC and an Accurate 5rd. All do the same thing. All of them scratch and gouge the shit out of the brass. I bent the feed lips on the AICS and it seemed to work. The ARCs don't seem to bend as easy.

Any suggestions? Do the new MDTs seem to feed better or do I need to look at the Enhanced AICs mags from Impact

Same issue with ACR mag, I two side taped fine wet dry sand paper to a paint stir and removed all burrs from the lips and added a mag extension. Smooth as butter now and no brass damage.

I don’t know if this will help because I run a 6.5 Creedmoor.. I use Accurate 10rd w/ Area 419 extenders.. Here’s my process now-
I take the mag apart and sand the insides, sand the sharp edges off the follower, and use sandpaper or file to knock any sharp edges off the feedlips. I then clean it out good and install the 419 extender, following the instructions they send (you have to stretch the spring) At this point you can load your mag up with dummy rds and start tweaking your feed lips.. I’ve found that when my feedlips are opened up to much that’s when they start gouging the sides of the brass case.. It takes patience to get the feedlips bent perfectly and uniform, but when you do,your top round will butter right off the top and your round should be presenting its self in a straight line into your chamber.. You don’t want them things leaving the feedlips at a slight angle because the feedlips aren’t uniform.. After all that shit, I double check for any burrs, and do a drop test. I can load 14 in mine and drop it on the butt of the mag and they don’t blow out.. I’m far from a pro, but this seems to be working for me, and maybe it will for you- good luck

You are likely going to have to tune whatever mag you get. I sand/polish the feedlips and the start working to set the feed lip spacing. I have to open up the front of mine a little more than the back to get mine to feed smooth. I use the MPA tool for the bending.

I have both AICS and and MDT 12 round. All work. I will probably get another 12 round MDT in the future.

Use sandpaper and sand the crap out of the inside of the feedlips. You only need to sand the edge that touches the brass. 60 seconds on each feedlip and the sharp edge will be rounded off.
