Picked up one of these when they first came out, but have opted to keep my 24L instead (better suited for hunting, and can’t justify a match tripod and hunting tripod).
Has faint marked lines from paint pen marking standing height for me. I tried to pick them up in the pictures. One other light smudge from when I was marking. I swapped the base to the anvil specific base. I also added a hook to hang packs from the tripod. I witnessed way too many tripods hitting the ground with substantial $$$ of optics; fortunately I learned from others bad fortune before it happened to me.
I’m into the package roughly $925; looking for $820 shipped. This is probably the perfect match tripod; especially if tripod rear is your thing.
