Hello,
I am looking to replace stock on Ruger American long action ( 7MM REM MAG) . I have found drop in stock replacements available from Bell & Carlson and Boyds. Do any of you know of any other brands that you would recommend? Have any of you had any experience with Bell & Carlson or Boyd's drop in replacements?
Thanks for your time.

MDT makes quite a few chassis systems for it if you don’t mind moving away from a traditional stock. I have two in MDT chassis’s myself. It made a pretty big difference in accuracy right away. One is a Preditor in 243 and the other is a Ranch in 223. I put the Ranch in the LSS chassis and that is a great little gun. Lots of fun to shoot and very light.

MDT only has chassis for the short action Ruger American.

I use the Boyd’s stocks on a Savage and Remington. They are great stocks, very well made. I can’t say specifically about the Ruger but I would highly recommend them.
