All my recent Rugers have been amazing, even the RA predators. This thing shoots lights out. I had a 6mm rpr that would shoot similar groups at 300. They were right at 1”
I’ve shot a 300 yard group once. At 100, I’ve shot 5, 5 shot groups in a day and everyone of them is under .3”
I ordered my 15 year old Son a Ruger American "Go Wild Camo" edition. It's his surprise Christmas gift. The Bronze Cerakote on the metal goes really well with the camo stock. Makes me happy to hear your Predator shoots well. That's what the GWC is, just a Predator with some new clothes.....and a muzzle brake. He has very little time on a rifle, so this is his tool to show me he can listen and learn.
I bought it as a back up to my semi custom bergara. I shot 100 rounds of American gunner for break in and thought what the hell.... let’s see if she will shoot my handloads for the bergara... I’ve never had a rifle shoot the same handload as good as another. But this ruger did. I credit some of it to the Berger 140. Because a friends custom shot it the same as well. Both my rifles on a 10 shot string will read 2800-2805 FPS.
What's the difference in yours and the "hunter" ?I have one in 6.5 PRC. It's a shooter...... But I wish I would have known the Long Range Hunter model was coming out. I'da waited for it......
